Planning Board Introduction
The planning board enables visual resource and schedule planning.
What is the Planning Board?
Section titled “What is the Planning Board?”The planning board shows you at a glance:
- Who is working on which project and when
- Which vehicles and equipment are in use
- Where there are capacity bottlenecks
Week View
Section titled “Week View”Detailed daily planning for the current week.
Month View
Section titled “Month View”Overview of the entire month.
Year View
Section titled “Year View”Long-term project planning.
Resources
Section titled “Resources”Plan different resource types:
- Employees: Who works when
- Vehicles: Company car deployments
- Equipment: Machines and tools
Create Assignment
Section titled “Create Assignment”- Click on an empty field
- Select the project
- Define the time period
- Assign resources
Status Colors
Section titled “Status Colors”The planning board uses colors for status display:
- 🟢 Green: Available
- 🔵 Blue: In use
- 🟡 Yellow: Maintenance
- 🔴 Red: Not available
